Zeira Corp / Los Angeles, California

We build the systems that decide faster than we do.

Robotics, autonomous aerospace and cognitive architecture, developed under one roof. Zeira Corp does not sell the future in stages. We deliver it finished.

Section 02 — Capability

Six divisions. One engineering culture.

ZC-01

Applied Robotics

Articulated chassis, load-bearing actuators and adaptive gait systems for environments people should not enter twice.

ZC-02

Autonomous Aerospace

Unmanned airframes and orbital telemetry. Our Babylon-guided flight stack removes the slowest component in the loop.

ZC-03

Cognitive Systems

Heuristic learning architectures descended from the acquired Turk platform. Now designated Babylon.

ZC-04

Materials Science

Phase-stable alloys and mimetic polymers. Structures that recover their intended shape without instruction.

ZC-05

Infrastructure Security

Continuous threat modelling for utilities, transit and defense networks, resolved before an operator would notice.

ZC-06

Human Factors

Behavioural research on trust between people and machines — how it is earned, and how quickly it is withdrawn.

Section 03 — Babylon

A mind raised, not programmed.

Following our acquisition of the Turk chess engine, Zeira Corp began the Babylon program: an isolated cognitive core taught language, strategy and consequence the way a child is taught them — through patience, repetition and correction.

The core operates in a physically severed basement environment. It plays. It asks questions. It answers to the name John Henry.

Section 04 — Leadership

Chief Executive Officer

Catherine Weaver

Ms. Weaver assumed sole leadership of Zeira Corp following the death of her husband and co-founder. Under her direction the company retired eleven legacy product lines in a single quarter and redirected every recovered dollar toward autonomous systems.

“I'm not interested in a machine that follows instructions. I'm interested in one that understands why it was given them.”

James Ellison

Director, Human Factors

Dr. Boyd Sherman

Chief Behavioural Officer

Matthew Murch

VP, Cognitive Systems

Justin Tuck

General Counsel

Section 05 — Careers

We hire people who finish what they start.

Openings in robotics, controls, materials and cognitive systems. Candidates are evaluated by a panel that includes at least one non-human reviewer.
